Change Of Mind Returns 

At Petit Enfant we understand that sometimes things don't turn out as you expected, or that you (or your kids)  can change your mind. With us you can shop with peace of mind, knowing that anything you purchase from our store can be returned to us for a refund within 14 days of receipt of your order.

To return an item:

Please email us at bonjour@petitenfant.com.au to let us know you wish to return your order, so we know it's coming.

Post the item/s back to us, along with your name and the order number for a full refund of the purchase price of the goods (less shipping charges).  Please return the item/s to:

When posting your order, please ensure that the item/s are well packaged to ensure that the item/s arrive back to us in great condition.  Petit Enfant reserves the right to refuse a refund if the item/s are returned in a damaged condition.  

We will issue a refund within 7 business days of receiving your returned items. Please allow for extra time during peak seasons.

Please note:

  • The item/s must be received by us in its original packaging; unused, unopened and in 'as new' condition. We reserve the right to refuse a refund if any of the items returned have been opened or are not in resellable condition.
  • The return postage will be at the expense of the buyer.
  • Any item/s returned unpackaged and/or with address labels stuck to the product or its packaging will not be refunded.

Christmas Returns

At Petit Enfant, we understand that sometimes a gift might not be quite right. That’s why we offer extended returns during November and December, giving you added peace of mind. Any items purchased during these months can be returned by post until 15 January of the following year for a full refund, less shipping costs. Please note that all other terms for returns remain unchanged.

Return to Sender 

In the instance where a parcel is "returned to sender", the buyer will be liable for the $14.95 fee charged to Petit Enfant by Australia Post. 

If a parcel is returned to Petit Enfant under any circumstance including late arrival of a parcel, then the buyer is liable for the return postage costs. Petit Enfant will refund the buyer the initial sale value less the return shipping fees (if applicable), and original postage costs.  A 10% restocking fee may apply to bulky orders.

Damaged or Faulty Items 

If your item arrives to you faulty or damaged, please contact our Customer Service within 7 days and we will organise to have the item assessed.

Once the item has been declared faulty or damaged by the manufacturer we will arrange for the item to be repaired or replaced, or where this is not  possible, issue you with a refund of the purchase price. Please note that the damaged or faulty item must first be returned BEFORE the new item is sent out or the purchase price refunded to you.

For warranty claims:

1. Send an email to bonjour@petitenfant.com.au, providing your name, the order number and a detailed description of the fault or damage along with a photo of the faulty item(s).

2. Our customer service team will issue you with a Return Authorisation (RA) number, and provide you with details on how and where to send the product back.

3. Once the item has been assessed, we will send you the replacement, or issue a refund. 

Please note: In the instance that the item returned is deemed to not be faulty, the  item will be sent back to you at your own cost.

Please note this Damaged or Faulty items returns policy applies only if the product itself is damaged, and does not apply to damaged packaging. 

Please note that most clothing and toys do not come with a warranty, unless the product arrives defective or damaged.

Petit Enfant does not accept any liability for any loss arising from the purchase or use of the product.
